Since the start of his career as a patent professional in the patent department of Nestlé in 2000, Sorin Schneiter has assisted and advised business managers, researchers, and lawyers in the making of important IP-related decisions.

His professional experience is based on the drafting and filing of patent applications in different jurisdictions worldwide and in different technical fields, conducting prior art and freedom-to-exploit searches, preparing validity and infringement opinions, advising in enforcement matters, coordinating litigation, and conducting negotiations in order to settle litigation.

In all cases were a client was advised to enter in litigation, a license agreement could be obtained and court actions were withdrawn, resulting in a profitable outcome of the patent strategy that was advised to the client.

Sorin Schneiter has regularly been active as a trainer and tutor in patent law and practice matters.
